You’ll want these. You’ll need these!
On Friday we started putting together our bi-weekly roundup of the latest and greatest tattoos for women. There are plenty of designs from the usual wizards you’re use to seeing on TB, as well as some great work from new artist’s we’ve just recently discovered. It’s always exciting to discover new talent, and when we stumble upon a truly brilliant tattooist, it usually inspires a list of some sort—which was the case here. If you’re a regular reader, you’ll have no trouble distinguishing who the newcomer is.
For women looking for a good tattoo to get before summer is in full swing, we’ve got some darlings on this list that you won’t want to miss. From the usual watercolor works to some truly divine single needle compositions, this list has everything a girl looking for tattoo inspiration could possible ask for. We hope you enjoy this list, and don’t forget to save and share your favorites!
This colorful planet.
Detailed moon tattoos are a dime a dozen these days, but this design really stands out from the rest. Baris choose to color this moon with what can only be described as the coolest color combination possible. If you’re looking for something with style and class, and at the same time unique, a design like this is definitely something to consider. (Photo: Baris Yesilbas)
These bands of color.
Whether this tattoo reminds you of an infrared heat signature or the rainbow luster on a wet surface at the gas station, there’s no denying its beauty. As such a unique and creative tattoo, it’s easy to get lost in this design while admiring its vivid color and other attractive properties. (Photo: Bryan Gutierrez)
This floral compass.
For proof that you’re a woman of class and elegance, this gorgeous floral compass should more than do the trick. The dainty sketch style compass gives the piece a vintage feel while the flowers add an overpowering feminine vibe that will put a smile on any girls face. (Photo: Tattooist Banul)
This stunning X-ray flower.
Ever since we first featured an X-ray floral tattoo on TB over a year ago, requests for more designs have been steadily rolling in on what seems like a weekly basis. Whenever we come across a quality example, we usually feature it on a list, but there’s just not that many artists creating what we would consider showpiece x-ray flower tattoos on a regular basis. This rose and poppy side piece.
Tattooist Flower’s flowers are in a league of their own. Roses, peonies, lilies, she does them all—and each time in her signature style which is instantly recognizable no matter how many floral tattoos come across our screen. This red rose and violet poppy combine to form a harmonious composition which any woman would be lucky to own. (Photo: Tattooist Flower)
This beautiful bouquet.
Speaking of flowers, another one of our favorite Korean tattoo artists also has a knack for creating wonderful and unique floral designs. If you’re in the market for something pretty with petals, don’t forget to check out Nando over on Instagram. (Photo: Nando)
This watercolor snail.
The cosmic twinkle visible in the purple and pink shades lend this piece a magical quality that makes this little snail tattoo anything but ordinary. Koray’s designs are always special, and a great choice for any woman looking for a stand alone design. (Photo: Koray Karagozler)
This ornamental mandala design.
A gorgeous mandala-esque design accented with dangling beaded jewelry. In addition to being any mandala-lovers dream come true, there’s so much more going on here. Anyone who enjoys intricate detail will appreciate this symmetrical work of art. (Photo: Agnieszka Kulinska)
This floral infinity symbol.
From the placement to the coloring to the concept, everything about this floral infinity symbol was well thought out and expertly executed. And then of course there’s the fact that it was done by Banul, who has never—to our knowledge—created anything other than delicate, swoon-worthy tattoo designs that every girl instantly falls in love with. This black and grey ink wolf.
As much as we feature wolf tattoos, you’d think we’d be sick of them by now. But things are actually quite the opposite. Especially once we saw this magnificent example inked by SoCal tattooist Ariel Nirakara. (Photo: Ariel Nirakara)
